I want to give a few words of encouragement. No matter where you are in your life right now, no matter how old you are, there are endless opportunities for you to build your dream job and make money doing what you love.

I remember my very first J.O.B working in Corporate America. I absolutely dreaded going to work every day. I knew this wasn’t going to be my forever job but I did know that I wasn’t cut out to work for someone else. To be honest, I didn’t make a very good employee. All I could think of was, “why am I working this hard to make someone else rich?” I remember seeing this quote and it really resonated with me:

Unfortunately, there are so many women who feel stuck and continue to go to a job they hate just because they need the paycheck. Maybe you want to start their own business, but you just don’t know how to get started. Or maybe you are just settling because you feel like you are too old to start something new.

If that’s you, I want you to know that YOU CAN be your own boss and build your own dreams no matter how old you are, even if you have never been in business before. I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 35 years and wouldn’t change it for anything.

I want to encourage you to discover your passion and create your dream job doing what you love. Find the thing that makes you happy, gives you joy, and gets you out of bed in the morning.

Think about all the things you like to do, all the things you have done over the years as a hobby like baking, painting furniture, making jewelry, dog grooming, organizing, crafting, photography, and anything else you love to do.

In fact, I have a list of 50 0nline Businesses for the 50+ Woman that I would like to share with you. I can promise you there are 2-3 ideas on this list that you could turn into a business.
