Did you know you can paint concrete floors?
Stenciled floors are a great way to dress up an ugly stained floor.
Check out how I painted this concrete floor with a stencil…
My faux-finishing business is known for bringing texture and colors to walls and ceilings. In fact, I’ve painted so many stunning ceilings, you can see a few painted ceilings here. But you don’t always have to look up to see my work! Boring concrete floors are also an opportunity to bring color and life to your spaces!

How’s this for UGLY!? But not for long…
Concrete floors are durable, but let’s face it… they are often dull or even ugly. Often times, your garage, porch, or patio has a concrete floor. Stenciled floors are extremely durable and easy to clean, when you use the right paints and sealer.
The very first thing you need to do is clean the floor and painted it with primer. I used Drylok. It covered up all the stains really well. Click HERE to buy it from Amazon and have it delivered right to your door.
Next I painted the floor with a blue concrete paint and and let it dry for about four hours. I used Drylok concrete paint and had it tinted in this pretty Colbert blue.
Then I applied two coats Quikrete sealer.
Voila! From drab to fab! Your imagination is your guide!
I hope this inspires you to paint your concrete floor.
