Do you want to know the paint color of the year? It’s now 2017, and it’s time to discuss which colors will define the 2017 paint color of the year. I’ll give you a hint, IT’S NOT WHITE. What’s your favorite paint color of the year, the Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams choice? Please do tell!

Poised Taupe.  Sounds nice, doesn’t it?  It’s Sherwin Williams’ paint color of the year and it’s fantastic in any room. The color is serene yet bold, calming yet striking, and neutral enough to complement any décor.  Whether your space is contemporary, shabby chic, traditional, coastal, rustic, or eclectic, “poised taupe” will fit right in. One color that goes with just about anything.

You can accent “poised taupe” with more neutrals or add pops of color.  The choice is yours!  If you’re one who likes to incorporate beige in your decor, no worries;  these drapes look equally amazing!

On the opposite page of the paint color of the year spectrum is ….

Benjamin Moore’s paint color of the year is a bolder “color trend” palette that it says reflects consumers’ newfound level of confidence in using deeper, saturated colors.

The Benjamin Moore 2017 Color of the Year? Shadow, a deep, saturated purple. I’m loving it! I can see this in a study or even kids’ room with bright fun accents.
